Dr. David Ellis

From your initial consultation to after your surgery, you will be given full information related to the procedure you are having: Dr. Ellis and the staff will be happy to answer all your questions. There is no such thing as a silly question, and no issue is too trivial.

Barb Tomaso
As Practice Manager for Dr. David Ellis at the Art of Facial Surgery for the past 12 years, Barb Tomaso has had the pleasure of being part of a growing and changing industry she loves.  After completing her Administrative degree at George Brown College, Barb has continued to obtain additional training in marketing and management, as well as managerial training in injectable fillers, lasers, skin products and non invasive treatments.

She has helped organize Annual General Meetings of the Canadian and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  Barb continues to keep up to date on the latest technology and developments in Facial Cosmetic Surgery, and is an industry resource.  Personalizing your cosmetic needs is important to Barb and the staff who strive to provide each patient with knowledge, understanding, comfort, and reassurance about every procedure.

Helen Manis
With over 16 years of experience in the industry, Helen Manis brings true meaning to the term service excellence in medical esthetics and skin care.  A graduate of George Brown College and having completed her studies in Laser therapies in Europe, she is currently well underway towards completing her Nursing degree through George Brown College. As a skin care consultant and patient care coordinator for Dr. Ellis, she has tremendous knowledge and experience in injectables such as Botox and fillers, laser vein therapies, non invasive skin tightening, skin resurfacing, facial broken capillaries, hyperpigmentation (brown patches)  removal and cellulite treatment. Known for her enthusiastic nature, agile touch and interpersonal skills, she connects with every single patient that comes to the office.

During surgical procedures, Dr Ellis has a fully trained Operating Room Nurse specializing in Cosmetic and Plastic  Surgery and for the more complex surgeries often an Anesthesiologist fully trained and accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada  provides anesthesia.  All anesthesiologists have privileges at major hospitals in Toronto.
