Laser hair removal is much easier and much less
painful than other techniques and produces
virtually permanent hair removal. At any given
time, a certain number of hair follicles are in the
resting phase. As the laser damages only the
actively growing hair follicles, repeat procedures
are needed for maximum results. The blacker the
hair and the lighter the skin, the better the final
result is.

Moustache, eyebrow, nostrils, bikini lines, upper lip, backs, shoulders, chin, breasts, legs, thighs, and frontal hairline in both men and women can be treated.

Laser Hair Removal

The best candidate for laser hair removal is a man or woman who has realistic expectations and is looking to remove unwanted facial or body hair. The procedure may take anywhere from several minutes to several hours to complete depending upon the size and number of areas being treated. More than one session is usually required. Anesthesia is typically not required, though a topical anesthetic can be used for patients who are particularly sensitive to pain.

Laser hair removal involves very little downtime. Some temporary reddening or localized swelling can occur, though this typically fades within a few days. Most patients are able to immediately return to work and other normal activities, though sun exposure will need to be limited for some time. Complications associated with laser hair removal are minimal. Patients with darker or tanned skin may not respond well to treatment and the procedure can possibly damage the skin.
