In May, Dr. Ellis was on a panel of distinguished Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons to discuss injectable fillers and Botox. The evening in Toronto was called Art of Beauty and was many people from the fashion and beauty industry were there to learn about Botox and fillers.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Dr. David Ellis is a leading Facial Plastic Surgeon of Toronto specializing in plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery of the face, head and neck.

After receiving his M.D. in 1966 he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Otolaryngology in 1972. Then became a Fellow of the American
College of Surgery in 1989 and certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He also is a staff surgeon at Toronto General Hospital where he focuses on skin treatment. He teaches at the University of Toronto Medical School and Dr. Ellis has led a fellowship program to train specialists in facial plastic surgery.

He has published over 30 articles in pre-reviewed journals on Facial Plastic Surgery and has contributed a number of chapters in books on Facial Surgery.

He is also the author of a novel called ‘ABOUT FACE - A Consumer’s Guide to Facial Cosmetic Surgery’ in Canada published by Macmillan Canada in 1992.
